Kees Bruggink.

Started with Judo and Karate in 1974

In 1984 he met J. Kallenbach sensei and P. Krieger Sensei.
He trained with Kallenbach Sensei until 1999 Tai-ki-kenpo in the ShinBuKen dojo and received his Okuiri in 1988 and his Mokuroku taikikenpo in 1994.

He started Jodo in 1984 with Fred Quant who was a student of Kallenbach Sensei. He trained with Fred Quant until 1994.
Fred Quant and Kees Bruggink, both teachers in the FEJ. Fred teaches in the Shin ShinBuKen dojo in Amsterdam.
After 10 years training with Fred he starts his own dojo in Haarlem with his wife Wil Bruggink who also practices SMRJodo since 1986.

The first time he met P.Krieger Sensei was in 1984 in Rotterdam.
There was a big Japanese event at that time, called “Edo Machi”.
There were demonstrations in Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto Ryu with
Otake Sensei and Shinto Muso Ryu Jodo with P. Krieger Sensei.
In 1989 he started beside Jodo also Shodo with P.Krieger Sensei and
in 1998 he put himself entirely into Shinto Muso Ryu Jodo and Shodo.




Highlights:

1984: Met P. Krieger Sensei and J. Kallenbach Sensei.
1988: IJF Jamboree in Switzerland with P. Krieger Sensei,
Relnick Sensei and Karuna Sensei.
1995: Met Nishioka Sensei for the first time in the Netherlands.
1997: IJF Jamboree in Sydney with Nishioka Sensei,
P. Krieger Sensei, Relnick Sensei and Chambers Sensei.
1999: Received Okuiri-Sho from P. Krieger Sensei.
2000: Training/Embu in Haarlem with Nishioka Sensei
and P. Krieger Sensei.
2000: IJF Jamboree in the USA with Nishioka Sensei,
P. Krieger Sensei, Relnick Sensei and Chambers Sensei.
Received the Shoden license of the IJF.
2003: IJF Jamboree in France with Nishioka Sensei,
P. Krieger Sensei, Relnick Sensei and Chambers Sensei.
Received his Shomokuroku from P. Krieger Sensei.
2007: Training in Japan with Nishioka Sensei.
2008: Received his Gomokuroku from P. Krieger Sensei.
Training in Japan with Nishioka Sensei.
2009: Training in Japan with Nishioka Sensei and
P. Krieger Sensei.
